Do you have the ambition to become a helicopter pilot? If so, please contact us to benefit from the experience of our highly qualified instructors. The Heli Securite Flight School offers you all the theoretical and practical courses necessary for the certification of:

Private Pilot (PPLH) / Commercial Pilot (CPLH) / Foreign Flight Licence Conversion / Flight Instructor (FI) / Robinson Safety Training / SPO / Type Rating and Renewal / Night Flight Qualification

The courses are provided on Airbus Helicopters EC155, AS355, H130, H125, H120, Bell Helicopter 429, Robinson R22 and R44 in Annecy and Grimaud.

Private pilot

Private pilot

To become a private pilot, you will have to:

  • Must have flown at least 45 hours without previous experience
  • Must have flown at least 39 hours if you have at least 60 hours as a commander.
  • Pass a theoretical exam composed of 5 modules (120 multiple choice questions with 75% correct answers for each module)

Mountain training

Mountaing training

To become a private pilot, you will have to:

  • Must have flown at least 45 hours without previous experience
  • Must have flown at least 39 hours if you have at least 60 hours as a commander.
  • Pass a theoretical exam composed of 5 modules (120 multiple choice questions with 75% correct answers for each module)

Foreign flight licence conversion

Foreign flight licence conversion

In order to convert a foreign flight license, you will need to:

  • Report a minimum of 50 hours of solo flying time
  • Conversion of ICAO license into 10 hours + 5 hours VSV, depending on conditions

Robinson safety training

Robinson safety training

You’ll have to:

  • Be in possession of a valid helicopter flight license
  • Pass mandatory instructor safety courses
  • Pass a practical and theoretical exam

This training is highly recommended for private and professional pilots.
One-month training course.

Commercial pilot

Commercial pilot

To become a commercial pilot, you will have to:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Passing the commercial helicopter commercial pilot theory exam
  • Possess a valid private pilot license
  • Possess a valid license for the type of helicopter used during training
  • Have flown 155 hours, including 50 hours on CDB
  • Pass a one-hour 30 to two-hour flight test

The duration of the training is approximately one month.

Night flight qualification

You will need:

  • A valid PPLH, a valid QT according to the type of helicopter used
  • 100 hours of flight time at the end of training
  • 60 hours of CDB in helicopter
  • 20 flying hours

Flight instructor

Flight instructor

To become a flight instructor, you will need to:

  • Successful completion of the Professional Pilotage Theoretical Examination
  • 10 hours of instrument training
  • 20 hours of driving time in CDB
  • 250 hours of helicopter flying time including 200 hours on CDB, if you already hold a private pilot license
  • 250 hours of helicopter flight time, including 100 hours on CDB, for commercial pilots

The duration of training is 6 weeks.

  • Bell Helicopter 429
  • Robinson : R22, R44
